Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
General Product Questions
Q: What makes the AERLANG Massage Gun with Heat and Cold different from regular massage guns?
A: Most massage guns only offer vibration. The AERLANG Massage Gun with Heat and Cold provides true temperature therapy—three heat settings (up to 131°F) for relaxing stiff muscles and improving blood flow, plus three cold settings (down to 44°F) for reducing inflammation and numbing acute pain. It’s like having a heating pad, ice pack, and percussion massager all in one device.
Q: Is this massager FSA or HSA eligible?
A: While not explicitly marked as FSA eligible on the listing, many percussion massagers prescribed for muscle pain relief can be reimbursed through FSA/HSA accounts with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a doctor. Check with your FSA/HSA provider or save your receipt and submit for review.
Q: Who should use a Massage Gun with Heat and Cold?
A: This device is ideal for:
-
Athletes (post-workout recovery)
-
Office workers (neck and back tension)
-
Seniors (arthritis and stiffness)
-
Chronic pain sufferers (fibromyalgia, sciatica)
-
Fitness enthusiasts (muscle soreness)
-
Travelers (portable with carrying case)
Q: Can I use it on my neck?
A: Yes, with caution. Use the fork head to straddle the spine (not on bone). Start at the lowest speed (level 1–2) and lowest heat setting (113°F). Never use cold mode directly on the front of the neck or throat area. Limit sessions to 5–10 minutes on the neck.
Temperature & Settings Questions
Q: What are the exact hot and cold temperature ranges?
A: The AERLANG Massage Gun with Heat and Cold offers:
-
Cold mode: 44°F, 50°F, and 55°F (6°C–13°C)
-
Hot mode: 113°F, 122°F, and 131°F (45°C–55°C)
These ranges are clinically effective for cold therapy (reducing inflammation) and heat therapy (relaxing tight muscles).
Q: How long does it take to heat up or cool down?
A: The heating function reaches temperature within 30–45 seconds. The cooling function takes approximately 60–90 seconds to reach the selected cold level. For best results, turn on the desired mode 1–2 minutes before use.
Q: Can I use heat and cold at the same time?
A: No. The device operates in either heat mode or cold mode, not simultaneously. You can switch between them as needed during your massage session. For example, use cold for 5 minutes after a workout, then switch to heat for 5 minutes to relax surrounding muscles.
Q: How many speed levels does it have?
A: The AERLANG Massage Gun with Heat and Cold features 20 adjustable speed levels:
-
Levels 1–5: Gentle (seniors, sensitive areas, neck)
-
Levels 6–10: Moderate (daily tension, back pain)
-
Levels 11–15: Strong (athletes, deep tissue)
-
Levels 16–20: Maximum (chronic knots, large muscle groups)
Battery & Charging Questions
Q: How long does the battery last?
A: Battery life depends on speed and temperature settings:
-
Low speed + no heat/cold: Up to 4 hours
-
Medium speed + heat mode: 2–3 hours
-
High speed + cold mode: 1.5–2 hours
For typical use (15 minutes daily), expect 8–12 days between charges.
Q: Why does the first charge take 6 hours?
A: Due to power loss during international shipping, the battery arrives in a deep discharge state. The manufacturer recommends a full 6-hour initial charge to calibrate the battery management system. Subsequent charges take 2–3 hours via USB-C.
Q: Can I use it while charging?
A: No. For safety reasons, the AERLANG Massage Gun with Heat and Cold does not operate while plugged in. Always charge fully before use.
Q: What type of charger does it use?
A: USB-C (cable included). Wall adapter is not included. Use any standard USB-A wall plug (5V/2A or higher) or charge from a laptop, power bank, or car USB port.
Massage Heads & Usage Questions
Q: What are the 7 massage heads and what are they used for?

Q: My massage gun won’t turn on. What should I do?
A: Try these steps:
-
Charge for 6 hours (first time) or 3 hours (subsequent)

Try the highest setting (131°F hot or 44°F cold)

Massage Gun Delivers Relieving Bliss from Training
The media could not be loaded.
I hesitated to buy this because I didn’t know if I really wanted to spend money for it.Well, I sure am glad I did! This thing is AWESOME, greatly helping with post workout recovery and DOMS.The heating and cooling actually WORKS and it works WELL!I would say it’s the perfect size, with a non-slip grip and boy does it HAMMER at level 20!It will inevitably be noisier at higher levels and if you do like I did and lie on your bed, its going to transfer through the walls, lol.Using it is simple and you can use a USB-C charging brick if you have one. It comes with an A to C cable but you may not need it.Flip the switch, press the plus sign to your desire and PRESS IT IN to get deep.A guilt-free purchase that is sure to last a long time.

Excellent Massage Gun with Impressive Features
Was very surprised when this arrived. Well packaged and was impressed out of the box. Have a couple of these guns that no longer charge and started looking. Son said “we need and good expensive one”. Saw the reviews and took a shot with this one.Came 3/4 charged but plugged it in to “activate battery” like the directions say. Left it on for an hour and it completely charged. Turn it on and found it to be very quiet … impressed quiet. The attachments are screw on’s, not push in’s like others which is good. Charged the Hot & Cold unit, charged it and put it on. It heated up in about 20 secs and at the max level, it gets hot. Same with the cold. Son saw it it and we gave it a try. Put it on 1 and it had plenty of power. What we didn’t know, and it doesn’t describe is that when you push, give extra pressure, the unit goes faster. I thought it was broken. I then saw on the top of the screen, a blue bar which after reading the directions is called a “pressure gage”. Very impressed and it worked flawlessly. For the money, I’d buy this unit again. It’s very well built, feels good in hand, and the features are great. Do not hesitate to buy, it works just as good as the expensive ones.

I bought this because I have been having a ton of hip/leg pain . I also torn my rotator cuff recently and my arm was super sore after physical therapy. This massage gun is the bomb! It’s easy to figure out, change heads, charged fast and I absolutely love it.I’ve used it about 10 times already and each time it does the trick. It’s not too heavy to hold and works well.

Good value worth checking out
My coworker bought one of these when it first came out and paid a lot more for being an early adopter. He had generally positive remarks about his purchase. And I debated about getting one for some rime, but just never pulled the trigger. So when he saw the item as a lightning deal offer, he sent me a text about it.At just about $32 including taxes with the discount, it was not a hard decision (plus there are already many positive reviews for this item). The massager is mostly intuitive to use (just can’t operate it while it is plugged in with the charger). The power on/off switch is at the base of the unit. The + and – allows users to adjust the setting up and down. The – button, if held for 5 seconds will also shut off the unit. And that’s pretty much it in terms of how to use it.Regular massages can help improve circulation, organ health, and facilitates the transport of metabolic waste from your body. So drink plenty of water to help that process. Plus if you suffer muscle pains or aches, this can help your body relax and knead away muscle stiffness. At around $30-$40, it is a good investment.

Great massage gun, great relief
I decided to buy a massage gun shortly after trying out a similar one my friend owned. I generally had a lot of cramps and tension in my legs after working out or playing sports. Getting this product really helped relieve some pain and definitely rejuvenated me after being drained from physical activity. The digital display is easy to use and very responsive. I would buy this product if you are looking for a reliable massage gun at a good price. No need to buy those expensive massage guns that cost hundreds of dollars.
