EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue | 4 types Percussion Massager for Back and Neck Pain Relief
EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue: The Convertible Massager That Reaches Your Lower Back
There is a persistent problem with most massage guns: you cannot reach your own lower back. You twist, contort, and strain your shoulder, often making the pain worse than when you started. The EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue attempts to solve this with a clever solution—an ergonomic extendable handle that converts the device from a standard handheld gun into a long-reach back massager.
With a 4.6-star rating (though only 14 reviews as of this writing) and a price of 64.88(1364.88(1374.77 list price), this device sits in the mid-tier range—more expensive than cotsoco but cheaper than Mebak. But does the extendable handle justify the price? Let us investigate.
Why the Extendable Handle Matters
Most massage guns require you to bend and reach backward to hit your own lumbar spine or mid-back. This is awkward, ineffective, and sometimes painful. The EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue features a two-in-one design: use it as a compact gun for arms and legs, or extend the handle to reach your lower back, glutes, and shoulders without contorting your body. This is a genuinely useful innovation for solo users who have no one to massage them.

Pros and Cons
Based on the specifications and the 4.6-star rating from 14 customer reviews, here is the honest assessment of the EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue.
| Pros ✅ | Cons ❌ |
|---|---|
| Extendable Handle: The standout feature. Reach your lower back and glutes without twisting or straining. | Very Few Reviews (14): A 4.6-star rating is promising, but 14 reviews is a tiny sample size. Compare this to Mebak’s 19,503 reviews. |
| Convertible Design: Use as a compact gun for arms/legs or extended for back/shoulders. Two massagers in one. | Long Charge Time (5 hours): Most competitors (cotsoco, Mebak) charge in 2-3 hours. 5 hours is slow. |
| 4 Massage Techniques: Combines percussion, vibration, compression, and kneading—more variety than standard guns. | Only 4 Heads: Budget guns often include 6-9 heads. Four is minimal, though likely sufficient for most users. |
| 6-Hour Battery Life: Above average. Most guns in this price range offer 3-4 hours. | No Pressure Sensor: Unlike the Mebak 3 (which has LED pressure feedback), EXELLEON does not tell you if you are pressing too hard. |
| Lightweight (1.4 lbs): Lighter than the Mebak 3 (1.68 lbs) and easy to hold for extended periods. | Brand New/Unknown: EXELLEON is not a recognized brand like Theragun, Hyperice, or even cotsoco. Long-term reliability is unknown. |
| LED Display: Clearly shows battery level and current speed setting. | **Price (64.88):∗∗Notexpensive,butnotcheap.Youcangetacotsocominigunfor64.88):∗∗Notexpensive,butnotcheap.Youcangetacotsocominigunfor17 or a full-size Mebak for $99. This sits in an awkward middle ground. |
| Travel-Friendly Carry Case: Included, making it easy to pack. | Limited Color Options: Only one color visible (likely black/dark gray). |
| 15-Minute Auto Shut-Off: Prevents overheating and over-massaging. |
Deep Dive: The Extendable Handle & Convertible Design
This is the reason to consider the EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue over competitors.
Compact Mode: With the handle retracted, the device functions as a standard mini massage gun. Use it on your arms, forearms, calves, quads, hamstrings, and neck (carefully). The 1.4-pound weight makes it easy to hold for 10-15 minutes.
Extended Mode: Pull the handle to lengthen the device by several inches. This allows you to reach your own lower back, glutes, mid-back, and rear shoulders without bending your arm into an unnatural position. For solo users with chronic lower back pain or tight glutes, this is a game-changer.
Downside: Extended mode likely shifts the center of gravity, potentially making the device feel heavier or less balanced. Check recent reviews for comments on handling.
Who Should Buy This? EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue
-
Solo Users with Lower Back Pain: You have no one to massage you. The extendable handle lets you reach your own lumbar spine and glutes easily.
-
Travelers: The 6-hour battery life + included carry case + USB-C charging make this perfect for trips. Charge once for a week of daily use.
-
Athletes Needing Glute/Hamstring Access: Reaching your own glutes with a standard massage gun is nearly impossible. The extended handle solves this.
-
People Who Hate Twisting: If you have limited shoulder mobility or arthritis, extending the handle reduces the need to contort your body.

-
People Who Charge Quickly: A 5-hour charge time is frustrating if you frequently forget to charge overnight.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue
Q1: How does the extendable handle work?
A: The handle telescopes or slides out from the main body. In compact mode, the device looks like a standard mini massage gun. Pull the handle to extend it by several inches, giving you extra reach for your back and glutes. Release or slide back to return to compact mode.
Q2: Is the EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue good for sciatica pain?
A: It can help with muscle-related sciatica symptoms (tight glutes and piriformis muscle). Use the extended handle with a ball or bullet head on the gluteal muscles. However, sciatica caused by a herniated disc or nerve compression requires medical evaluation. Do not use directly on the spine.
Q3: How does it compare to the Mebak 3?
A: The Mebak 3 has 53 lbs of stall force (professional grade), 7 heads, 19,503 reviews, and a 4.7-star rating. The EXELLEON has an extendable handle (Mebak does not), 6-hour battery (Mebak is 3 hours), but only 4 heads and 14 reviews. Choose Mebak for proven power and reliability. Choose EXELLEON for the reach advantage.
Q4: How does it compare to cotsoco?
A: Cotsoco offers budget options (17−17−30) with 9 heads and 20 speeds but no extendable handle. EXELLEON offers a unique handle design and longer battery life but costs 2-3x more. If money is tight, buy cotsoco. If back reach is your priority, buy EXELLEON.
Q5: Can I use it while charging?
A: Not recommended. The device is cordless and rechargeable. For safety and battery longevity, charge it fully (5 hours) before use, then unplug. The 6-hour battery should last multiple sessions.
-
Final Verdict: Should You Buy It?
Buy the EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue if:
-
You struggle to reach your own lower back and glutes with standard massage guns.
-
The extendable handle solves a genuine problem for you.
-
You value a 6-hour battery life over fast charging.
-
You are willing to take a risk on a newer brand with only 14 reviews.
-
Your budget allows for 65(versus65(versus17 for cotsoco or $99 for Mebak).
Skip it if: EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue
-
You have a partner or friend who can massage your back (no need for the extended handle).
-
You rely on customer reviews to make purchasing decisions (14 reviews is insufficient).
-
You want proven reliability (buy Mebak 3 with 19,503 reviews instead).
-
You are on a tight budget (buy cotsoco).
-
You need fast charging (5 hours is too long).
Bottom Line: The EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue offers a genuinely useful feature—the extendable handle—that competitors lack. However, the very low review count (14) and long charge time (5 hours) are concerning. If you absolutely need to reach your own lower back and are willing to take a chance on a newer brand, this could be the solution. For everyone else, the Mebak 3 (proven power) or cotsoco (proven value) are safer bets.

Super lightweight and powerful motor
I just received my Massage Gun and even a day earlier than expected!! The first thing I noticed is just how sleek the gun looks. It has a longer handle that is removable with the press of a button making it easy to travel with and then reattaches easily to reach the sore muscles in my back when I am by myself. It also has multiple attachments for different aches and pains. The massage gun has a high powered motor that is super quiet and the gun is surprisingly light weight making it an easy choice!

Buy two!
This fascial release gun has the perfect amount of (adjustable) power and the long handle helps me reach my own back without assistance. It’s hard to get my hands on because family members keep stealing it. You might want to buy two.

Perfect Gift Idea
This massage tissue gun is wonderful! One of my sporty kids received one in a gift exchange last year and both of my sporty kids have spent the whole year fighting over it. I ordered a second one to give as a gift this Christmas to end the dispute. I had to try it out myself for pain in my bad knee and I may end up buying a third! It has some weight to it and it is very relaxing.

Nice Little Massage Gun
This is a nice little massage gun. My favorite feature is definitely the ergonomic, extendable handle, which makes hitting those hard-to-reach spots. It also has 8 speeds and 4 different heads, allowing you to switch between a deep tissue sports massage and gentle relief effortlessly. The motor is fairly quiet and runs for up to 6 hours on a single charge and it has plenty of power for such a compact little gun. It’s also very easy to use and switch out the different heads.

A little larger but allows me to access hard to reach areas easily
I was pleasantly surprised by how easily I could reach my back with the EXELLEON Massage Gun Deep Tissue Percussion Massager. The long handle is comfortable to hold and makes it simple to apply the right amount of pressure to both hard-to-reach and easy-to-reach areas. It’s a bit larger than other massage guns I’ve used, but that extra size is what allows for better reach and control. The multiple speed settings are clearly shown on the top display, and overall the device feels strong, well-made, and durable.

Lightweight, very powerful with many settings
This is a high quality handheld massager with many options. It’s lightweight and easy to use out of the box; however, I recommend reading the instructions. One of the first things you’ll do (as I did), is add the handle, add an attachment, and turn it on – then try using it! lol… well, it has a senser in the gun, so the harder you press, the harder and faster this thing responds. It can get very intense, very quickly. It’s highly effective at hitting areas I cannot reach on my back and the different settings and attachments mean there isn’t much, if anything, this can’t help adjust or massage. Well worth it!

Long lasting battery, lots of power choices
The massager comes with four different head attachments. It is rechargeable via USB-C, and after fifteen minutes of use the battery indicator still showed full. There are nine levels of power, easily selectable with a power button short-press. The power ranges are varied, and powerful enough that I doubt I would ever use the most powerful ones. The extension handle is easy to attach and remove, and seems to lock in place pretty well. The color-change LED is superfluous and the manual’s English translation is pretty bad, but there isn’t much to use the manual for once you know how to change an attachment head and turn the unit on.

Great massager with extended handle!

This is a very nice massage gun. It is easy to assemble and use. You will need to charge it first. The extended handle allows me to reach places on my back that I would have to ask someone else to reach with other massagers. There are 9 speeds and 4 attachments. It is quiet and very portable. I would have liked for it to come in a case, but I will keep it in the box when I’m not using it.

Massage gun
Nice looking massage gun. It also has multiple attachments. They are easy to put on. The motor is quiet. 8 speeds with a digital reading. What i think the best part is the handle. You can dangle this over your shoulder. It very portable. Battery is decent. Do a good job on pain relief.

Lightweight, Powerful, and Easy to Use

I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight this massager is compared to most massagers. Just so you know, it does require a 5V charger. You’ll need to charge it for about 3 hours right out of the box.I personally wish it came fully charged so you could use it immediately to knock out shoulder tension, but it’s not a dealbreaker. This massager gives you a nice range of power with 10 levels—nine regular levels plus one high-power level. The indicator light changes colors as you move through each level, which makes it easy to see your settings. You can also switch between attachments based on what your body needs. The instructions are straightforward. Once you get used to it, it’s super simple:Press and hold the top button to turn it onPress and hold to turn it offThe LED light display will alert you when it’s time to recharge.Overall, it’s lightweight, user-friendly, and so far… so good!
