Game Changer for Athletes
These products are marketed more towards seniors, but let me tell you, there’s an untapped market of athletes waiting for this breakthrough. I am a fulltime professional boxing coach, I hold mitts and I am on my feet and physical all day long. I am also an actively competing boxer in my mid thirties now, with an intense training schedule. I suffer from chronic injuries to my shoulder, back, you-name-it. My body has a lot of mileage. My wife convinced me to spend the money on a better massage gun, than the one we bought years ago, which has been doing the job to take some of the muscle tightness out of me so I can sleep, and so we can stay away from injury, but by afternoon the next day I’d need to do it again. She did some research and found this, hoping the heated head would actually do something for some of my muscle tightness at the end of the day. I can’t believe what a difference this gun has made after a single use. I came home last night after cancelling half of my work day because of low back pain. This gun was waiting for me on the doorstep and we busted it open, charged it for an hour and then started it up.The quality is amazing, the case is great for transport and keeping everything together. Inside is a nice booklet from Bob and Brad who are physical therapists and they have little charts and illustrations for common injuries and ways to use the gun to help! Highly educational, and very informative. Really put their best foot forward with their product. It really showed how much they cared about educating and sharing their experience and know-how with the average man. Highly appreciate that.The heat was surprising at first, I was never worried it would burn me, but it was a great level to really feel it. The machinery of the gun itself must be made of good high quality materials, because it never stalled out and my wife could really just use the weight of the gun itself to get to the trouble areas. She doesn’t have to push. With that being said, primarily, she is the one using the gun on me; I believe this would be quite difficult to use one-handed if you were not a particularly fit individual trying to use it on yourself. It is pretty hefty, but there are different models by this maker that are probably better for one handed use. The actual feel of it on my body is a lot like a powerful jacuzzi jet-stream. It was weird to feel that vibration and the heat without getting wet! My wife said she was shocked to feel the knots relax so quickly, where it would take us minutes at a time previously, the heat cuts down the working time into seconds. She hasn’t experimented with the different modes yet because I really prefer low settings in general. Took us a few minutes to figure out how two buttons could scroll through the settings, play with speed and turn it on and off but it’s easy to use out of the box. The pain in my back was gone with a few careful passes of the heated tip.In a capitalist hellscape the world is becoming, it’s so refreshing to come across a company founded by two hands-on experts in their field, developing a tool to actually benefit injured or people in discomfort and not trying to make a buck off us. The booklet itself really set that tone, and the price pointed locked in their good intentions. At first I thought it was weird a product like this had two human names on it, instead of some catchy/edgy product or company name… but then I realized they’re two people who developed this product and stand by it so strongly they’re willing to put their names physically upon it…. I think that’s really rare these days… I will be supporting Bob and Brad’s products in the future and they will be first choice for anything we need going forward.

Great massage gun at a reasonable price
I have hip arthritis and the Bob and Brad D5 Pro Massage Gun has been an important part of my therapy for several months. It provides me with effective deep tissue pain relief. The gun is easy to grip and I find that I can massage both the front and the back of my legs and hip easily. The D5 has adjustable speeds, is quiet to use around the house, and is very comfortable to hold. It comes in a very well designed case making it convenient to take along when I travel. In addition to using the D5 for arthitis pain relief, I am a cyclist and find the massage gun to be excellent for relaxing my muscles after a workout. Highly recommended!

I have been using C2 original massager since 2021. It is still going strong(!!) and has taken care of my shoulders for years. Recently, I have started exercising regularly again for health reasons, and the running portion of my routine is making me very sore to the point I feel uncomfortable to move the next day. I thought using a massage gun with heating head may alleviate the pain faster and decided to try D5 Pro Plus.When my new massage gun arrived, I noticed that D5 PP was larger and felt slightly heavier than C2. Initially, I was worried that it might be harder for me to handle (54yr old female with average sized hands). However, it was not the case once I changed my grip and used the bottom handle (one without the power button). Another plus of this unique handle shape is that I can reach around my scapulas easier w/o asking other’s assistance.Also, D5 PP does feel more powerful than C2. When I palpate the area of tightness after the massage, my muscles feel softer, fast. The heating head is not too hot and feels good to my achy muscles. I also appreciate D5 PP has different modes so that I can adjust the intensity depending on where and when I need the massage. I love to use m2 on my quads/glutes after running when they are very tender to the touch(shown in video). It helps reduce the pain and make the recovery faster.Lastly, I am thankful that Bob & Brad provided with ” HOW TO HEAL WITH MASSAGE” booklet in the order. I can take good care of my neck and shoulders using techniques shown there!

Best massage gun I’ve ever had.
Received this massage gun in July and have been addicted to it ever since. The stall force helps me to press hard when I’m using it if need be, to get rid of soreness from working out or just daily activities. I switch between the round ball and the air cushion attachment and they both really relax the muscles. I recently caused a bit damage on the round ball, emailed customer support and was immediately contacted by Ava, who was very polite. The product is great. Customer service is great. Forever customer.

Great Power, Ergonomics, and Battery Life!
I’ve only had the massage gun for a couple of weeks, but I love it. It’s very powerful, and despite its unusual shape, it’s surprisingly ergonomic. The design helps you reach difficult spots. It feels very well-made, and the battery life is amazing; I haven’t had to charge it yet.

A bit loud
I did do a lot of research on massages guns for my husband’s Christmas gift.It works well and has come it with us on our trips.It has always been loud, Although lately my husband made a comment about how it seems to be getting louder, like something came loose and rattling, so this may be an issue and we are only 3 month in.Keep you updated on the status with the noise.

Mediocre
These can be nice, but also bounce off your back like super balls. Great for people who don’t have bones sticking out of their backs. Unfortunately, many of us do. Using it by yourself, you should be younger, or a contortionist. Neither of which I just happen to be.

Issue with quality, but great customer service
I liked the massager but it broke after light use within 9 month. After turning on, sometimes it turns off randomly, and the button seems to be less bouncy. Can product support contact me after you read this review pls!Update- I was contacted by the support team who read my review promptly and they offered to provide a full refund or give me a new massage gun at no cost since it was under the 12 month warranty period. I chose getting a new gun since I did like the performance. They have also extended the warranty to 27 months so the new gun will be covered. 5 stars for customer service.
