Strong massage, just wish the cord was longer
The massage strength is great and the heat works well. It hits the mid-back especially nicely and feels relaxing. The cord is on the shorter side, so you’re limited on where you can plug it in, and the buttons are a little awkward to reach while you’re using it. It’s portable in the sense that you can bring it with you and plug it in wherever you are. The leather feels nice and looks well made. Overall, a solid massager with a strong, effective feel.

Amazing lower-back relief, compact and portable

This back massager is fantastic for targeting the lower and mid-back, especially if you’re on the shorter side like me (I’m 5’2”). It doesn’t reach the very top of the back for me, but for lumbar and lower scapula areas, it’s perfect. Average massager for an average price.
I have chronic back pain and massagers like this one from AOVOJRM tend to help a small to moderate amount so I use them a few times a week. I have tried at least 4 or 5 others through the Amazon Vine program. This one is in the middle in terms of quality and efficacy – it’s fine, but it’s certainly not the best I have used.The design is very similar to others I have tried and all are variations on a theme – they all have little plastic balls underneath a piece of fabric that rotate. Some are larger sizes, some have more units that rotate, but most, like this one, are just two that move up and down. This one states in the product description how it is an improved design compared to other companies, but the only thing that I noticed that was drastically different was that each rotating unit (there are 2) has four little balls on it of different diameters, which does create a little different (I’m not sure “better”) massage experience compared to 2 or 3 balls that are the same size (which is what all the other brands I have used have).Other than that, it’s basically the same design with the same basic features as all of them; you can change the speed of the rotation, add heat, and change the direction of the balls spinning. For this device there are 3 speeds but 2 seemed, to me, to be the same speed. The directions included are sparse and poorly written, but the different “modes” it touts only stops the balls spinning on their course and starts sending them back in the other direction. It’s hard to explain but they rotate one direction (clockwise or counterclockwise – each one is opposite for the “massage” effect) as they move up the back and then the other direction as they move down. Changing “modes” doesn’t cause them to spin in the opposite direction (like other brands I have tried), it only stops them from moving up or down the back and then sends them in the opposite direction. Basically, it doesn’t really change anything a whole lot.The pictures and product description make it look and sound like this is ultra portable but, besides the handle, it really isn’t. You need to plug it in and the cord isn’t that long (I’m guessing 5 feet, give or take 1 foot). They’ve got 2 pictures in a car but that’s deceiving (unless you have someplace to plug it in).The prices of massagers on Amazon are all over the place (the variance is amazing) and the current price of $69.99 (after $10 coupon) is average. Hence the 3/5 stars.

Good massager, but short power cord
In my personal opinion this back massager does what is supposed to do but maybe a little bit too strong on your back. I wish that I could find where I can make the massages a little bit softer because it is a bit rough when doing it for the first couple of sessions. As far as how it’s made, you can just put this on the back of a chair or your couch or anywhere that’s comfortable for you to sit and turn it on. But the cord is a little bit short so you probably need an extension cord to reach a power outlet so you can use it. How it’s made the controls are on the side, so you won’t lose the remote . That also means you are not able to see the controls while using this since it’s on the side of the machine. You’re probably going to have to set it up before you use it so you can get the right massage that you want. Also, You can have to remember which buttons are which since you’re not going to be able to see the remoteonce Other than that, it does work as advertised and I think it’ll take me a while to get used to this type of massage for my back but I think over time it’ll be nice to use when I really need a massage.

Works Well, But Some Issues Uncovered
I had a lot of trouble assigning stars, but I settled on 4/5, however, fewer stars can be justified. You can adjust the stars depending on how much weight you give to the issues I will discuss below. The short explanation is that the massage I got did a decent job on my back pain, but I found some significant issues. I have another shiatsu massager from a different manufacturer, that works better for me.So, here are my issues: 1) I cannot turn my unit off using the button on the device. I have to unplug the power line to turn it off. This may be a problem with the unit I received or maybe a wider issue. 2) There are several buttons for controlling the massage. However, there is no indicator to tell you which level you are on, or how much time you have set it for. I was not able to tell from pressing the buttons whether I was getting more strength or not. 3) The power cord is not very long, so you have to have a chair close to a 120VAC outlet before you can use it; it works only by connecting to a regular 120VAC power outlet. I had to get an extension cord to make it fit my work and use space. 4) The Amazon description shows using it in a car as one option. This is neither practical, nor safe. You will need a 120VAC converter to make it work and it is strong enough that it would be very distractive while driving. 5) The instruction booklet is difficult to understand and does not provide a clear explanation of how to use the buttons. 6) The handle is a nice touch for carrying it, but there is no pocket to put the power cord. Without the power cord, you can take it wherever you want, but it won’t work. The power cord supplied has a special plug that goes into the massager.

Great massager. My back feels so relaxed!
This back massager is great! I love the size and the quality of the rollers. I get home from work with back pain and after starting to use this massager, I have seen improvement in pain relief and a better sleep. I love the compact design, I can use it in my dining chairs, in my sofa, or even in my bed. It has several settings you can select from and it is super user friendly.

Works better for shorter users
This back massager is pretty strong and compact. It has a pretty good massaging motion and keeps going even when you lean hard into it. I thought the controls were pretty straightforward and simple. One button to turn it on, then buttons for motion, intensity, and heat. The cord is also fairly long so it’s easier to reach an outlet from the chair or couch. My only real complaint is that since the unit is pretty compact, it sacrifices range. That means that taller individuals will find themselves having to reposition in order to get a full back massage. The difference between lower back and full back isn’t that big. That’s really the only complaint I have though. It’s plenty strong and really works the back muscles.

Made for small people
The massage quality is great and the heating aspect is perfect for sore muscles and muscle recovery. Vibration Leve is fairly strong. Easy to set up (does need to be plugged in).Does not work well if you’re a taller person, or even an average sized/height American, it won’t work well for you.Hubby is 6’3″ and I’m 5’5″ and we both have to pull it up a bit to reach anywhere near our shoulder blades. If you are 5′ or shorter, it might work well.

Feels great just where I need it
Feels great on the lower part and small of my back. The massage is concentrated just where I need it. It’s powerful yet soothing. The unit is good quality and easy to use.

Back massager
The back massager works as intended. I feel like the cost is a little high for this unit though. It’s an average kneading type back massager that does the job and feels good, but I’ve tried others that were priced less and did an equal job. It is corded, so its not incredibly portable as the ad says, but I was aware of that. The cord could be a little longer. The controls for it worked fine. The material seemed to be adequate quality and well made overall.
