What to Look For in a Best Electric Pressure Washer USA
-
PSI (Pounds per Square Inch): Determines cleaning force. 2000-2400 PSI is ideal for most home tasks. This Westinghouse’s 3200 PSI excels at heavy-duty concrete and siding work.
-
GPM (Gallons Per Minute): Indicates water flow, which affects cleaning speed. A 1.2-1.8 GPM range is standard under $300. Westinghouse’s 1.76 GPM offers solid rinsing performance.
-
Motor Type: Brushless motors are quieter, more efficient, and last longer. Universal motors (like Westinghouse) offer high power at a lower price but with more noise.
-
PWMA Certification: Verifies pressure and flow ratings via standardized testing. Greenworks and Sun Joe have this; Westinghouse does not specify.
-
Hose and Cord Length: Longer reach means fewer outlet changes. Westinghouse provides excellent reach with 35′ cord and 25′ hose.
-
Warranty: 2-3 years is standard. Westinghouse’s 3-year limited coverage offers strong protection.
Crucial FAQs Best Electric Pressure Washer USA
1. Is the Westinghouse WPX3200e powerful enough to replace a gas pressure washer?
For 95% of homeowners, yes. Its 3200 PSI rivals entry-level gas models while offering electric convenience: no fuel mixing, no carburetor cleaning, no pull-start frustration, and quieter operation.2. Will 3200 PSI damage my car’s paint?
Yes, if used incorrectly. Always start with the widest 25° or 40° nozzle, stand back from the surface, and never use the turbo or 0° pinpoint nozzles on paint. Test on an inconspicuous area first.3. Why is GPM just as important as PSI?
PSI blasts dirt loose. GPM washes it away. A 3200 PSI but low-GPM machine cleans a single spot faster, while a balanced PSI/GPM machine cleans entire surfaces faster. Westinghouse’s 1.76 GPM provides a good overall balance.Final Verdict: Is the Westinghouse WPX3200e the Best Electric Pressure Washer USA?
The Westinghouse WPX3200e is a powerful, well-built machine that excels at tough outdoor cleaning. Its 3200 PSI output, generous cord and hose lengths, rugged wheels, and 3-year warranty make it a compelling choice for homeowners with large driveways, stubborn concrete stains, multi-story siding, or extensive fencing.

Just what I needed!
Awesome pressure washer! Quality equipment. Plug-n-play right out of the box, ready to be used (minor assembly required). It has more than enough pressure and an array of spray nozzles to take care of my pressure washer needs. Cleaned a stained driveway, rinsed off all the windows, washed down the astro-turf, reaches all the cracks & crevices, washes the trash/recycle/yard waste bins, it’s continuously washing the vehicles and much much more. It has made such tasks so much easier. It has operated without any issues!

Great electric pressure washer
Well designed pressure washer. Lightweight making it very portable. Good pressure as it cleaned dirt off car and wheels very well. Much quieter than old gas powered washer. Easy assembly within 15-20 minutes. I would purchase again.

Westinghouse electric power washer recommended
I was used to a Craftman gas power washer that I used for years until pump gave out. I was hesitant to switch to electric but read the reviews and took a chance. Boy I am glad I did.The unit came well packaged and on time. Setting it up was quite easy although a home P1 screwdriver will be too small for the screws. It took about 6 minutes. Once assembled, the unit looks sturdy and functional. Very solid feel to the whole thing.I took the advice of many and purchased a 50 foot more flexible hose and I added quick disconnect fittings, two upgrades that really make it easy to use and way more convenient. The hose that comes with the unit is pretty stiff and short.Turning it on was scary quiet and I was worried that it would not clean. Simply unfounded on my side. The power washer made easy work on removing 3 years of grime and some spilled rain gear waterproofing on bluestone patio. The gun is well balanced and a good length and the included tips gives one plenty of different impact patterns. I used the turbo and 15deg nozzles and they both did a great job on the patio as well as the entire back wall of the house and even some pavers. I was impressed with the performance and I am glad that I switched to electric. I was actually able to hear music on my iPods without any problem at all.In short I am happy to recommend this to homeowners for medium size projects.Note added. I purchased a hose reel and attached it to the handle of the power washer. Here is a picture of the completed unit. So easy now to roll the washer anywhere on the property, hook up water hose and electrical cord, and unreel the power washer hose. No coiling and so easy to roll back and put away. I would recommend that to all users. Very easy to make with a piece of wood and 4 longer screws to attach the wood to the washer frame.

Light weight, Quite & Easy to assemble
This unit was easy to assemble, is light weight, and was quite to operate. On the first day of operation, I ran this unit on a 90-deg. day for over 6 hrs. and it ran flawlessly. Overall, I am very pleased with this unit. The reason for only 4 stars … First let me say this is my first electric pressure washer. My previous pressure washers have all been gas-powered engines. I did a comparison with this unit at 3400psi @ 2.0 GPM and my gas-powered pressure washer at 2550psi @ 2.3 GPM. I attached a pressure washer surface cleaner (non-Westinghouse brand) and my gas-powered unit did a slightly better job than my new electric. I was hoping my new electric unit would be a bit more powerful, but it seemed to not be the case. Non the less, I believe this is a great residential unit and at this point, I’m happy with the purchase!

Nice Quality
I’m excited to try this out. The product was very easy to put together and seemed very quiet quality. All I needed was one Phillips screwdriver but honestly, it was very simple. The cord looks heavy duty in the frame looks heavy duty and it’s plenty of heavy in the front, I was worried that it might tip over, but it looks quite solid to tank small for the soap. I wish they had a bracket in an attachment option to get a bigger tank if we wanted to, maybe we’ll see that down the line who knows

Just what the doctor ordered.
This is a great pressure washer! I received the product in the box. It was easy to assembly. It has good pressure for everything I need it for (cleaning walkways, house siding, washing cars, etc,). It comes with multiple nozzles for all pressure washing needs. It has made tasks requiring washing much easier and more enjoyable.

Pressure Washing Without the Hassle – Loving My WPX3400e!
I finally took the plunge and bought my own pressure washer—the Westinghouse WPX3400e Electric Pressure Washer—and I have to say, it’s great! Living in California, where the availability and selection of gas-powered pressure washers is very limited, I decided to go electric, and honestly, the trade-off in convenience with this model makes it totally worth it.I’ve rented gas-powered units in the past, and while they have higher water volume and greater cleaning efficiency, renting one here costs over $100 a day. That always meant feeling like I had to cram every possible pressure-washing task into one exhausting day just to get my money’s worth. By the end, I’d be dog tired, and there was always more I could have done. Now, with my WPX3400e, I can clean whenever I feel like it without any hassle. Out of the box assembly was super simple—took about 10 minutes with just a Phillips-head screwdriver. Setup for use is a breeze—just connect the hoses, plug it in, and turn it on—it’s always ready. And putting it away is equally hassle-free—just disconnect the hoses and unplug it, and you’re done—no worries about adding fuel stabilizers or gas degrading and gumming up a carburetor, no oil to change. It has plenty of power for what I need, and I’ve been really impressed with how well it performs. So far, I’ve washed our cars, and while it doesn’t completely replace the hand-wash step, it makes the process much easier and faster. I’ve also used it on our patio furniture, and it’s so much better than hand scrubbing and spraying with a garden hose. And my deck? I’ve started on it, and it works great! The best part? I don’t have to kill myself trying to do everything in one day. I can knock out a section at a time whenever it’s convenient. And I know I’m just scratching the surface of uses, but I’ve only had it a week.If you’re looking for a solid electric pressure washer, the Westinghouse WPX3400e is definitely worth considering. It has great power, easy setup, and the convenience of electric without feeling like you’re sacrificing performance. Definitely recommend!

Does the job well
Bailed us out after sewage backed up in basement. Good value, cleaned well at the pressure you select. Ran it for hours with no problems. Light enough to get up and down the stairs. Good cord length, any longer would be unmanageable. No leaks

Good solid piece of equipment
Good solid piece of equipment for the price.Pressure washers range greatly in price and efficiency and having been burnt once already for going the cheap route (another brand stopped working after 3 uses) and not wanting to spend crazy amount, this unit sat nicely in the sweet spot of price and capacity.Delivered timely via Amazon, thankfully without additional packaging! It’s very easy to assemble. The frame and large wheels make it very easy to maneuver, although does then have a slightly larger foot print if you are hoping to store in a small shed etc.Great design means all items, such as cables and nozzles have a place to be stored on the unit without falling off.Operation of the washer is super easy, follow the simple instructions. The turbo nozzle is the go to for me, it cleans most things with limited to no damage on items such as wood fencing. Other nozzles have the capability get the job done for the harder to remove satins etc, but be warned this may come with damage to the item you are cleaning, go slow and build up to using the smaller nozzles as this unit does have a healthy PSI and the precision nozzle will rip through wood.So far cleaned redwood fence, garden furniture, trex decking, new’sh concrete and turfing around pool. Yet to take on the grime of the driveway but feel confident with the additional wheeled surface cleaner attachment that I bought, this unit should not have an issue.Another reason I bought this was the on-board soap tank. I figured it was better attached to the unit rather than having it on the wand adding extra weight. However it would be useful to have 1) an on/off valve on the pipe to the soap dispenser so you can keep detergent in the tank the whole time and choose when to use it. 2) Have a plugged drainage hole in order to empty the soap from the tank.Side note – When cleaning my neighbors side of the fence, he was impressed that I was using Westinghouse!

Awesome Pressure Washer!
The media could not be loaded.
The first pressure washer I’ve ever used (besides the ones at car washes) is the Portland 1750 PSI 1.3 GPM from Harbor Freight. I used it to help clean a friend’s front driveway and back patio and it took forever to clean! The reason was because it was so weak and I had to hold the nozzle so close to the concrete to get any results. A year later I used a Bauer 2000 PSI 1.3 GPM from Harbor Freight to wash my Jeep Wrangler after going mudding and it was better than the Portland but it was still underwhelming. I think I was just used to the ones at the car washes. So when I decided to get my own, I wanted the most powerful electric pressure washer on the planet, and I have to say I think this is it! It definitely does the job! In the video, I used the turbo nozzle, which does amazing and quick work. The key word is quick. I saved so much time compared to the Portland! I’m spoiled rotten and can never go back to a weaker pressure washer.I would say the 25 degree and soap nozzles are safe for your vehicles. I wouldn’t be too worried about getting a 40 degree nozzle. You just have to be cognizant of the distance from your nozzle to your vehicle (which you’ll get used to), especially around the radiator, because distance does make a difference. As far as the hose goes, a reviewer on YouTube complained about the hose being too stiff. I, on the other hand, think the hose is fantastic. The issue of concern is the hose kinking, and I can’t see this hose kinking at all. It’s flexible enough for ease of use for me. I think it’s a great design. Would a Flexzilla pressure hose be nice? Sure it would be a luxury, but I don’t feel like I need one. On the other hand, at times I’m working my way say down the sidewalk, and I would have to come back to the pressure washer and move it closer to where I’m pressure washing because of the length of the hose. Yes, a 50 ft. hose would be more practical, but again do I feel like I need it? Not really. It’s just more hose to deal with later on. And it’d be twice as much hose hanging off the back of the handle when you put it up.Some other things that surprised me were the weight and the quality of the material. It was much lighter than I imagined, and the material is high quality compared to the ones from Harbor Freight.I also got the Westinghouse Foam Cannon, the Twinkle Star Pressure Washer Adapter Set and the COOSOO Pressure Washer Cover, and everything is working out great so far. I highly recommend any of these products as well.
