How to make a great air cleaner even better!
Absolutely love these little Levoit air cleaners. They are small enough to put almost anywhere yet have a large filter element that removes cat hair (from our 3 cats), dust, and dander at 3-speeds and with low noise! I have a black model for the office and a white model for the bedroom. I fashioned a makeshift duct for the top that funnels a stream of pure clean air towards my face while I work or sleep. Makes a big difference when you have allergies!BTW…I mean it when I say makeshift. The first “duct” was made in the middle of the night with a paper towel and painters tape. It works great and provided instant relief from my cats sleeping on the bed. Makes me feel like I’m in a clean air cloud. The second, much more sophisticated duct was made from a piece of paper. The duct just makes using a small air filter practical as long as you stay within the clean air cloud.Hey Levoit, this might make a nice option…hint hint..

Very impressive features and an excellent price
I have had this air filter purifier for several months now because I wanted to be able to rate it after using it a while. I am very satisfied with it. It has done a great job at keeping the dust level much much lower than it was and it’s features are great. It has three speeds and even on high it is not loud as to be disturbing. If you’re like me and enjoy a bit of “gray noise” to help you sleep; this is a perfect solution for that as well. It is very high quality; well-built and has many features that much more expensive ones have; including a timer and indicator when you should change the filter. If anything were to happen to thisā¦ I would definitely buy the same one again, immediately.

Good with smells, good sound
I like it. The sounds is a good white noise. It’s so easy to open it and vacuum or change the filter. It does seem to catch lint and dust. It also seems to work well with smells too, especially cooking smells. The purifier itself didn’t have a bad or weird smell to it, so I was able to set it up, plug it in, and turn it on.

No More Litter Smell
I got this for my guest bathroom where we keep one of our litter boxes that our 4 cats prefer to use over any other room. I was having an issue eliminating odor in the guest bathroom even with daily scooping, cleaning, sanitizing, and candle burning and it was driving me NUTS trying to figure out how to not smell that vague litter/pee/litter-pee smell. I noticed a difference just a few hours after plugging this in. I keep it about 5 feet from the litter box and it has absolutely reduced any smells that were an issue before. It’s nearly silent and easy to keep out of the way due to its small size. The cats don’t seem to be bothered by it at all. I didn’t buy it for smoke-smell solutions but in the adjacent guest room we partake in the devil’s lettuce (blowing the smoke out the window) and I’m inclined to think it helps with any lingering smells there as well. If you need heavy-duty filtration I’d go for something bigger, but for a quick fix on a budget so you don’t go INSANE over pet smells in a contained area, this will do the trick.
