Why the BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun is the Best Gift You Can Give
The BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun stands apart in a crowded market because it is designed by actual physical therapists, not just engineers. Bob and Brad have built a following of over 5 million people who trust their advice on pain relief and recovery . They put their names on this product because they genuinely believe in it—and they only recommend what they would use on their own families.
Here is what makes the X6 Pro the ultimate gift:
1. Unmatched Deep Tissue Percussion Power
The X6 Pro features a 55mm diameter brushless industrial-grade torque 120W motor that delivers an industry-leading 55 lbs of stall force and a 10.5mm amplitude . What does this mean for you? It means this massage gun can power through tight, knotted muscles without bogging down or stopping when you apply pressure. Whether you are an elite athlete or someone dealing with chronic tension, this device reaches deep into muscle tissue to provide real relief.
2. Innovative Metal Head Therapy – A Game Changer
The BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun comes with an exclusive all-titanium alloy metal massage head . This is not plastic. This is not silicone. This is aerospace-grade metal that is tougher, more durable, and more effective than standard attachments. The metal head delivers a stronger, deeper percussion impact that helps users recover in minutes instead of days .
Bonus Therapy Feature: The metal head can be used for hot and cold therapy . Place it in the refrigerator for a cooling massage that reduces inflammation, or run it under warm water (and dry thoroughly) for heat therapy that relaxes tight muscles. This dual-function capability is something plastic-head massagers simply cannot offer.
3. Long-Lasting Battery for Extended Use
Equipped with a premium 2500mAh automotive-grade lithium-ion battery separated across four cells, the X6 Pro runs for up to 4 hours on a single full charge . That is weeks of use for most people. The built-in 10-minute auto shut-off feature prevents overuse and ensures safe operation every time .
4. Ultra-Quiet Operation – Use Anywhere
Thanks to its advanced brushless motor and noise reduction technology, the BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun operates at an astonishingly quiet 30 to 50 decibels . That is quieter than a normal conversation. You can use it at home while watching TV, at the office between meetings, or at the gym without disturbing anyone around you.
5. Fully Customizable Massage Experience
Five interchangeable heads and five adjustable speeds (ranging from 2000 to 3200 RPM) allow you to target every muscle group with precision :
| Attachment | Best For |
|---|---|
| Metal Head (Titanium Alloy) | Deep tissue, hot/cold therapy, maximum intensity |
| Round Ball | Large muscle groups (glutes, quads, hamstrings) |
| Flat Head | General use, whole-body relaxation |

7. Portable and Travel-Ready

Pros ✅ (BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun)
| Category | Details |
|---|---|

| Exclusive Metal Head Therapy | The titanium alloy metal head is a standout feature. It screws in securely (unlike sliding attachments) and allows for hot and cold therapy—simply refrigerate for cold massage (reduces inflammation) or run under warm water for heat therapy (relaxes tight muscles) . |
| Exceptional Battery Life | The 2500mAh automotive-grade lithium-ion battery delivers 3.5 to 4 hours of continuous use on a single charge. That is weeks of recovery sessions for most users . |
| Ultra-Quiet Operation | Operates at only 30 to 55 decibels—quieter than a normal conversation. You can watch TV, work, or relax while using it without disturbing others . |

Cons ❌ (BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun)
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Moderate Amplitude (10.5 mm) | While effective, the 10.5 mm stroke length is shorter than premium competitors (which often offer 12-16 mm). For users seeking the absolute deepest tissue penetration, this may feel slightly less intense . |
| No USB-C Charging | Uses a proprietary wall charger rather than the increasingly standard USB-C connection. If you lose the charger, you cannot use a common phone charger as a backup . |
| Single-Button Control | One button controls power and speed cycling. To reduce speed, you must turn the device off and restart from speed 1—you cannot directly go from speed 5 back to speed 4 . |
| Button Durability Concerns | Several user reviews report the power button becoming stuck or temperamental after months of use. While customer service typically replaces affected units, this is a known weak point . |
| Plastic Housing | The outer shell is primarily high-quality plastic rather than metal. While it does not look cheap, it lacks the premium feel of all-metal competitors like Theragun . |
| Short Warranty Period | Comes with a standard 1-year warranty. Premium competitors often offer 2-year or even lifetime warranties. (Note: The newer X6 Pro Max may have different terms.) . |
| Heavier Than Mini Alternatives | At 1.9 lbs, this is a full-sized massage gun. Users with wrist or hand issues may prefer a smaller, lighter “mini” version like the Bob and Brad Q2 . |
| No Hot/Cold Attachment on Standard Model | The standard X6 Pro requires manual heating/cooling of the metal head (hot water or freezer). The newer X6 Pro Max includes an electronic hot/cold attachment with instant temperature control . |
Quick Verdict for USA Shoppers (BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun)
| Best For | Not Recommended For |
|---|---|
| Athletes, gym-goers, runners, office workers with muscle tension, seniors with stiffness, physical therapy patients, and anyone seeking professional-grade recovery at an affordable price | Professional bodybuilders needing 16mm amplitude, users who prefer USB-C charging, or those who want an electronic hot/cold therapy attachment (consider the X6 Pro Max instead) |
Bottom Line: The BOB AND BRAD X6 Pro Massage Gun delivers exceptional value for most users. You get powerful percussion, the unique metal head with hot/cold therapy capability, long battery life, and quiet operation—all backed by the trusted names of two famous physical therapists. While the single-button control and plastic housing are minor drawbacks, the outstanding customer service and effective performance make this a top choice in its price range .

A great no-compromise alternative to the pricier options
Like many of you, I was interested in a massage gun but didn’t want to break the bank. That led me to search for “value” alternatives to the big brands that can easily cost $300, $400 or even more. I watch Bob and Brad on YouTube and my searching eventually brought me to the X6 Pro.Let me tell you, this massage gun is AWESOME. It might be less expensive than the bigger industry names but the build quality is absolutely on par. It’s as robust as any other massage gun I’ve used before. It has a very reassuring weight that gives it a premium feel. There’s absolutely nothing flimsy about it. The lengthy handle makes getting the hard-to-reach spots on my back a breeze. It also comes with a generous number of attachments, including a solid metal one that looks intimidating at first but has become my favorite for big muscles like my quads and glutes. It also comes with a very nice carrying case that makes storing it easy and keeps me from losing any of the attachments. This massage gun has surprising but not overpowering strength. I’ve used some massage guns that feel like they’re beating the heck out of me during use. The X6 has the perfect amount of power that feels like you’re receiving a deep tissue massage instead of feeling like you’re being pummeled by a kickboxer. Between the five power levels and the various attachments, it’s always easy to find the perfect combination for my needs. Unless you’re an elite athlete or have super dense muscles, I think everyone would pleased with the power output.Despite its power, this thing is surprisingly quiet. I’ve used a Theragun Prime and it’s really noisy. I have a two year old son and I don’t hesitate to use my X6 Pro in the same room while he naps. It’s not silent, but it has a pleasant hum that sounds like white noise. The only tiny nitpick I have is the charger. I wish it was USB-C so I wouldn’t have to keep up with another charger in the house. That’s a first world problem though so it’s no big deal.To wrap this up, don’t hesitate to buy the X6 if you’re on the fence. It’s a high quality machine that outperforms its price point. Unless you’re The Hulk with bulging muscles, save yourself some money and skip the big brands. This is all you need.

A fine massage gun worth the money, recommended
Had this for 12 days. Normally I’d write reviews after I have used a product for a longer time, but since I:1. Owed a Theragun Elite Gen 5 for 10 months ($296 after discount including tax)2. Owed a Theragun Sense for 10 months ($250 after discount including tax)3. Owed a Bob & Brad Q2 Mini for 3 months4. Tried and returned a Bob & Brad D65. Tried and returned a Ekrin Kestrel6. Tried and returned a Ekrin Bantam, I feel I am pretty quick in judging the massage gun products now. And the conclusions this one is worth 5 star and my recommendation.Good things:1. Cheap. I got this for $119 including tax. Only 1/3 of what I paid for Theragun Elite Gen 5.2. I feel this one to be 75%-80% of the functionality of the Theragun Elite. The stall power (or non-stall power) is superb, definitely on par with the elite. I use those two powerful massage guns for my big muscles.3. Handling is alright, no awkward feeling. Theragun felt better.4. The overall package has high value for the price.5. Feels just good on me, which is very important. Gave me that addictive feeling. Not so good:1. Probably not fair to compare, but it is just lacking “something” comparing to the 3x price Theragun Elite Gen 5. I couldn’t describe that feeling, it’s not something measurable (such as non-stall-force). Just a feeling of… Theragun Elite G5 is more… “thorough”? Or “force penetrated better”?2. No type-C usb charging. Forced me to carry (or take my home outlets space) for one more charger.By the way, why do I have so many massage guns?1. Bought the Theragun Elite because I started training, and found a good discount.2. Bought Theragun Sense because at that time parts of my body could use a softer massage gun, and my wife and my mother couldn’t stand the power of the Elite.3. Then wanted a cheap massage gun in my car all times. Tried out Q2 mini and Bantam, kept the mini.4. Now I found I need two powerful massage guns, one at office and one at home. Because of my cycling and running involves the big muscles, and Theragun sense often stalled with those muscles.5. I don’t want to spend too much money on massage guns. So I picked an economic one as my fourth.

Beastly strong and wonderful
I have finally met my match! This is the only device I have tried that is actually stronger than I need. Other devices I have purchase have died or burnt out because I like a really, really strong deep tissue kind of massage. They just could not meet my needs. This device however I tried on the 3 setting and nearly beat myself to death. So now I typically use it on a 2 and then occasionally on the 3. I have very impress by the strength of the machine and supposedly it won’t stall out until it reaches 70 lbs. Initially I didn’t believe this claim but after using it a number of times, I do now. My massage therapist using is on me after he finishes his deep tissue massages. Believe me it does it’s job. I have purchased a couple professional devices that friend in medical professions have gotten for me. As far as its strength goes, this device competes with devices my chiropractor and my physical therapist can only buy. It charges up exceptionally fast too. Now if it only lasts then this will be the best non-professional machine I have ever purchased. I started using the ball head and then switched to the flat head. A word of caution about the flat head. It can pinch your skin if used on bare skin. I suggest using it over a sheet or thin blanket to prevent the flat head, which has an edge to it. Have not tried the other head but the bullet-shaped head I would use caution with also unless used for trigger point and at the 1 setting because this machine is so powerful. At least on my senior skin I can imagine the bullet head leaving bruises if used with firm pressure. Overall I am thrilled with the device. It is awkward to use on yourself because it has an long “body”, especially on the back but it is possible for several minutes. My only complaint is the 10 min time out. I wish it could have been designed for at least 15 min.

Love it, but metal head design has questionable longevity.
I have owned this massage gun for a few months now. Overall I like it a lot. The battery lasts a long time between charges, the device feels solid and well-made, it’s very quiet, and it comes with a nice variety of heads for different purposes. It also has plenty of travel/depth to really work out the knots in your muscles. My one complaint is the metal head: mine came apart into two pieces after a couple months of use. It turns out the metal head is actually hollow inside, and is made of two machined pieces that are press-fitted together. The machining and surface finishing on the metal part is so good that it’s impossible to see the seam until it comes apart like mine did. This isn’t a flaw in workmanship but rather a flaw in design — the contact area on the press-fit is only about 1mm thick and probably isn’t sufficient to keep this thing in one piece after many percussive impacts. On the bright side, customer support took care of me right away, and sent me two new metal heads after I sent them a photo of the one that came apart. I had the replacements in only a couple days. I’m just not sure how long the new ones will last, given the design. If the new ones come apart, I’m going to have to get creative with some kind of epoxy or press-fit cement to repair them properly.

Product good, but requires a 5v=2A charger, which is NOT included, and not stated in description
re: the charger. I THOUGHT I had read through the items included, but it seems I’m not smart enough to realize that I have to buy something additional to use this massager. Never owned a cell phone, so this equipment isn’t on hand.Massager CAN be charged through my laptop, but I would prefer to be able to charge this through an electrical outlet…as the laptop isn’t always with me.***Massager charging & use is a bit confusing, as the ‘hot/cold’ implement requires separate charging, and this isn’t stated in the instruction manual.Hot/Cold implement charging is explained on a separate card, and the charging for the hot/cold tool takes about 30 minutes, compared to the 3 1/2 hours for first-time charging of the massager.Implements (using the lowest setting, and first charge-up & use was Tuesday, 2025.02.26, afternoon):1) The hard plastic silver one is almost like a jack-hammer; not bad, just intense…but probably very useful in some situations.2) The ball-shaped one, with the non-smooth texture, should be probably used on top of a non-shedding fabric, rather than directly on skin. I did both things, and the texture of the ball is such that it picks up dry skin flecks, so it’s also going to be picking up any oil or moisturizer on your skin. (This one isn’t going to be easily cleaned, since it’s not must a matter of a good rub with a cloth & some alcohol to get those skin flecks & oil off the surface.)This one is very soothing, and I think I will be using this one a lot…which is why I want to be able to keep this tool clean.3) The LARGER, rubber flat-head tool is gentler than the silver-colored & smaller flat-top. This tool is ALSO a slightly absorbent rubber (not hard rubber) but it will be a lot easier to clean than the ’round ball’ tool. (This tool might also be a candidate for working on top of non-shedding fabric.)4&5) The bullet-head and goal-post tools are both hard plastic, so easily cleaned, but the are DECEPTIVE. These two are GENTLER, and they are the two I ended up using the most for my upper arm (biceps area), which has been rather angry for about a week, and which I ‘finger-tip-bruised’ MYSELF while trying to find the trouble / knots, after applying WHAT I THOUGHT was gentle pressure, 2 days ago.THESE TWO TOOLS WERE THE ONES I USED FOR ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES, although there was no evident improvement in bruises OR pain…UNTIL I WOKE UP THIS MORNING; the bruises are almost gone, and I can actually move my arm…EVEN TO THE BACK.***TL/DR, as they say on reddit:I bought this on recommendation, and also because of a ‘sale’ price…and now I’m going to order another one, for my massage therapists friend in Manhattan Chinatown…for his use at his studio. He’s is knowledgeable & gifted…but he’s also working 12-hour days (2-3 times per week) & 7 days per week, and this is the machine he has at home for himself…so buying him one of these could help him out. It’s not easy getting old, unless you can move your body, and now I have another tool in my toolkit.

Love this!
This is one of the best massage guns I’ve ever used and for such a decent price! It has a lot of power behind it, a good battery life, and hasn’t weakened over time. I use this every day on my patients and they all love it. I’m a chiropractor and use a massage gun to loosen people up before an adjustment and I find this very effective. I liked it so much I had to buy an extra one for at home. Would definitely buy other tools from this company.

Great value, features and exceptional customer service
Been reviewing a lot of massage gun and contemplating buying Teragun but when I saw this gun, features, product reviews and special the stall force I was convinced to buy this product, got lucky it was on sale and comparing this to teragun equivalent features this is way much better in features, use, functions and price. I got this gun for almost a month and I’m still satisfied. I fully charge this and it doesn’t take long not sure how long but I guess less than 5 hrs. I used this multiple times the battery is still full almost a month. I got this because I want the heat and cold features, I got this and open, next day the heat and cold attachment it disappeared. I email customer service from bob and Brad. The customer service her name is Ava was so efficient to respond my email and help me out of my issue. She send me a free attachment I was so happy the support and commitment of Bob and Brad staff to help me since I bought this more on the heath add cold attachment and the stall force. Now due to their product quality and customer service the company is extending their warranty to two years. That’s a great deal ! Thank you once again Ava for helping me ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Exceeded my expectations 150% recommended
This item is amazing! I have several of their other products and have tried those of competitors however this brand has far exceeded my expectations. As you may imagine it’s a little bit heavier than the small ones but it’s absolutely perfect for me or anyone looking for that deeper massage that fits well in my hand. It’s travel friendly and so very worth the price. Very easy to use so if you lose your manual there shouldn’t be a problem figuring out what to do. The experience with the warranty for their products is just as good. Kind, efficient, reasonable, prompt to answer and very easy to navigate. Standing true to the warranty if for some reason you have any issues with your device. 150% recommend this brand in general even if you need something a little smaller or with a little less power for beginners and even if you want a different type of massage product. They are simply the best. Thank you guys! I love love you your products.
