    Inspect paint closely

    Facts first:It is NOT a silent clock, you can hear the ticking. The time is accurate.If you can read analog, it is very easy to read even from across the room.The paint quality (full story below) is 50-50 hit or miss.I loved the clock, so I recycled the box before I assembled (it was garbage day & a big box!) but, that lead to many trials & tribulations trying to get replacement clock hands, because one of my gold hands had the paint peeling off.I thought I might be okay using the black, but I decided against it. My initial request to speak to the vendor was quick & fine… it took a long time to get them, and with the holidays I didn’t rush to open or assemble. Well. Turns out they were a different size & style & didn’t fit on the clock I ordered. They were gold, so I was going to try… The next time I tried talking to an Amazon rep, they were trying to just refund me & I insisted that I wanted to keep it, I just needed new gold hands. They eventually said it would be overnighted… It was not. I gave it time, because the first time took awhile. Eventually I talked to Amazon again & they sent a new entire clock, so I could get new hands & ship-back the items I wasn’t needing or keeping. 3rd times the charm, it looks AMAZING! So glad I persisted, and the 1st clock received was a fluke. I can (now) say it well worth everything!

    Nice clock, big numbers make it easy to see the time from a distance (24″ size)

    I bought this clock to replace a solid backed clock for my large covered porch. Bats started living behind the solid backed one so this open design was a good choice for replacement. I initially changed out the gold hands for black but found it difficult to see them when they lined up with the vertical and horizontal support members on the clock so I changed back to the gold hands. It’s working fine, is silent and keeps time accurately. Thus far I’m satisfied with the clock.

    Disappointed – Poor functionality and waste of money

    Had high hopes for this product, but it’s been a huge letdown. The wall clock doesn’t work. We kept it giving it a chance but now I really wish we had returned it sooner. For the price, this is a total waste of money, definitely not worth it.

    Really attractive modern take on a vintage design

    I really like the design, but I ended up returning it. I need a weather resistant clock for outdoors and not under cover. I tried to find a place for it indoors because I really like the style. But I just didn’t have a good wall space for it. I already have a lot of indoor clocks and other wall decor.

    Easy to install.

    It does NOT come with a battery. There are two nails that need to be pounded into wall. 4 tiny ones + 1 large one. The 4 tiny nails hold small plastic “hook” that holds the clock into the wall. I don’t know if the large nail is needed although it could be used “instead” 4 tiny nailed hook.
