Developed by Trusted Experts
Unlike celebrity-endorsed products, the Q2 Mini was created by two practicing physical therapists with decades of clinical experience. Bob Schrupp and Brad Heineck (the “Bob and Brad” of YouTube fame) designed this gun to address real patient needs: portability without sacrificing power .
The Most Compact Design in Its Class
Measuring just 5.7 inches tall—about the size of a standard water bottle—the Q2 Mini lives up to its “pocket-sized” promise. It weighs under one pound, making it easy to toss into a gym bag, purse, backpack, or even a large pocket . The ergonomic silicone grip reduces hand vibrations during use, allowing for longer sessions without fatigue of Q2 Mini Massage Gun.
Quiet Enough for Any Setting
Operating at as low as 40 decibels, the Q2 Mini Massage Gun is one of the quietest massage guns available. You can use it while watching TV, during a work break, or even while a baby sleeps without disturbing anyone .
5 Speeds + 5 Attachments = 25 Massage Combinations
Speed Settings
The Q2 Mini Massage Gun features five distinct speeds, each calibrated for specific therapeutic needs :
Speed RPM Best For 1 1,800 Gentle warm-up, sensitive areas 2 2,100 General relaxation, mild soreness 3 2,400 Post-workout recovery 4 2,700 Deep tissue work 5 3,000 Maximum intensity, dense muscle knots The single-button control cycles through speeds (press to change, press and hold to power on/off). One minor quirk: you must cycle through all five speeds to return to a lower setting .
5 Q2 Mini Massage Gun Attachments
Head Best Use Ball Head (Foam) Large muscle groups like quads, glutes, and hamstrings Air Cushion Head Sensitive areas, forearms, joints, and calves Bullet Head Trigger points, deep tissue, feet, wrists, and traps U-Shaped Head Neck, shoulders, and along the spine (avoid direct bone contact) Flat Head All body parts, biceps, and around knees Battery Life and Charging
The Q2 Mini Massage Gun features a USB-C charging port compatible with most modern phone chargers. A full charge takes approximately 1.5-2 hours with a 15W PD fast charger (not included) or 3 hours with a standard 5V adapter .
Once charged, the battery lasts up to 4 hours of continuous use. Given that typical massage sessions last 10-20 minutes, this translates to 12-24 sessions per charge. Many users report using the device for weeks before needing to recharge .

Who Should Buy the Q2 Mini Massage Gun
Frequent Travelers and Gym-Goers – If you want a massage gun that fits in a carry-on, gym bag, or even a large pocket, this is the obvious choice. The included travel case keeps everything organized .
Runners and Cyclists – The compact size and adequate power make it perfect for post-run or post-ride recovery. Many runners specifically praise its effectiveness on calves and shins .
Office Workers – Sitting at a desk all day creates tension in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. The quiet operation means you can use it at your desk without annoying coworkers .
People with Small Hands or Limited Arm Strength – At under one pound, the Q2 Mini Massage Gun is much lighter than full-sized guns, reducing fatigue during extended use. The ergonomic grip fits naturally in smaller hands .
FSA/HSA Account Holders – If you have unused pre-tax health dollars, this is an eligible purchase that improves your quality of life.
Anyone New to Q2 Mini Massage Guns – The Q2 Mini is an excellent entry point. It is affordable, effective, and backed by physical therapists. You can learn proper techniques without a $200+ investment .
Who Should Skip This
Bodybuilders or Powerlifters with Large Muscles – Professional reviews note that the Q2 Mini Massage Gun’s 7mm amplitude and 32-35 lbs stall force may be insufficient for dense glutes, quads, or back muscles. The motor can stall under heavy pressure, and the short handle makes it difficult to reach the middle back .
People Who Need Deep Tissue (12-16mm Amplitude) – If you require Theragun-level depth (12-16mm), the Q2 Mini’s 7mm amplitude will feel too shallow . Consider the Bob and Brad D6 Pro-C for full-sized power.
Those with Very Large Hands – Some users with larger hands find the vertical grip too short for a comfortable, secure hold, especially when trying to reach the middle back .
Individuals Who Prefer a Rotating Arm – The Q2 Mini Massage Gun has a fixed straight body, making it difficult to reach your own back without assistance. If you need solo back massage, look for a gun with an adjustable head.
People Who Will Use It Daily for 20+ Minutes – The Q2 Mini Massage Gun is designed for on-the-go use, not daily professional clinical use. If you need a gun for daily heavy use, invest in a more durable full-sized model .

Real Customer Experiences
Positive Feedback (The Vast Majority):
One verified reviewer called the Q2 Mini Massage Gun “the best product I’ve bought all year,” noting they didn’t realize how tight their muscles were until they started using it. They praised the power, ease of use, and carry case .
Another reviewer, a runner who experiences calf and shin tenderness, found full-sized guns too uncomfortable but the Q2 Mini Massage Gun “just right” in terms of pressure. They described it as “portable and incredible” .
A customer who originally received a used unit contacted Bob and Brad directly through their website. The company sent a complimentary replacement, and the reviewer upgraded their rating, stating, “After using the unit, so far it seems quite good, powerful enough and yet still compact enough to travel with” .
The Men’s Health UK review concluded: “The Bob and Brad Q2 Mini Massage Gun has changed this. Thanks to the impressive battery life, dinky proportions and excellent (and super quiet) performance, it now has a near-permanent home amongst my gym essentials” .
Constructive Feedback:
Some users find the Q2 Mini Massage Gun too intense for the neck, even on the lowest setting. One reviewer specifically noted: “I do find even on the low setting it’s too hard to use on more tender areas like the neck. Works best on muscles” .
Several reviewers mentioned battery life issues, with one reporting the “need to charge indicator comes on after 10 minutes of use” . However, this appears to be an isolated issue given the overall 4.7-star rating.
The Cycling Weekly review, written by a physiotherapist, noted: “When it comes to the larger athlete and muscle groups such as glutes, I found that it stalled too often and was a little underpowered” .

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: Is the Q2 Mini actually powerful enough for deep tissue?
A: For most people, yes. The 3,000 RPM maximum speed and 7mm amplitude provide effective deep tissue relief for common soreness in the neck, shoulders, back, calves, and arms. However, for very large, dense muscles (bodybuilder glutes or quads) or heavy pressure application, the motor may stall. The stall force is approximately 32-35 lbs, which is lower than full-sized guns .
Q2: How does it compare to the Theragun Mini?
A: The Theragun Mini has deeper amplitude (12mm vs. 7mm) and is more powerful overall. However, it costs $199 (3-4x more) and has only 3 speeds and 3 attachments versus the Q2’s 5 speeds and 5 heads. The Q2 also has longer battery life (4 hours vs. 2 hours). If budget is a concern, the Q2 offers better value. If you need maximum power and have the budget, the Theragun is superior .
Q3: Can I use the Q2 Mini while charging?
A: No. The user manual recommends against using the device while charging. Allow it to charge fully (1.5-2 hours with a fast charger, 3 hours with standard) before use.
Q4: Is it safe for neck use?
A: With caution. Even on the lowest setting (1,800 RPM), some users find the Q2 Mini too intense for the neck. Use only on the muscular traps (back of neck/shoulders), never on the front or sides of the neck. Limit to 30 seconds at a time and use the air cushion head for a softer touch .
Q5: How do I clean the device?
A: Wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. The massage heads can be removed and cleaned separately. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling.

GREAT Quality, Works well on Knots/Muscle Pain, Various Attachments
I have the tooth shaped back massager by Bob and Brad and really love the quality of it and function. So I decided to take a chance on this little massage gun because I trusted the quality of Bob and Brad. It was also $80 versus $200+ of some of the other brands. I use this almost every night and it works so well. It has a little case and various different attachments. I like the ball or the more pointed one. I do like the hot/cold, but with it being a flat head, it does not feel as effective. Highly Recommend this massage gun. GREAT quality, works well, helps with my muscle knots/pain.

Mini Massager with Full Strength
This massage gun is the best massager ever. It’s strong and powerful and carries a regular sized massager and more. It’s so small I can take it with me anywhere any time. It’s great for all parts of the body and convenient for spot areas on the hip, low back, thigh, etc. The weight is so light and the power is so strong, relief is immediate. Also they have an excellent customer service and support team. Ava was thorough and responsive in troubleshooting and resolving my request.

What a shopping experience THIS was!
First off, I’ve given this experience five stars but have not given the massager itself any ratings.Let me explain. After enduring days of left quad pain, I came across a Bob and Brad YouTube video on the subject. B & B advocate the use of a massager in the healing process, and I really liked their Q2 Mini Massage pocket-sized gun they were demonstrating.I ordered one. When I received it, I was immediately impressed with its compact yet very sturdy case into which the beautifully-constructed gun and attachment heads fit neatly. I set it up to charge the battery.Sadly, the green light–indicating charging had begun–kept going out.I ordered a replacement. When this arrived I found that this massager also didn’t want to charge. At this point I was ready to return both massage guns and get a refund but decided to first reach out to the manufacturer to get some feedback. Maybe I was doing something wrong.Immediately the customer service representative jumped into helping me. Thinking the problem might lie in my adapter, they sent me (free of charge) a new charge cord and adapter. No go.Maybe others would have given up. But by now I was so impressed with how responsive and determined their customer service representative was to help me, I wasn’t ready to throw in the towel. And there was otherwise too much quality in evidence in this massager (not to speak of its excellent reviews) for these to be anything but fluke-ish happenings.I’d been flirting with the idea of getting the larger of the massage guns–the C2 model–but balked at the heftier price. When I shared this with the representative, I was offered either a discount on one of these models OR a replacement + discount off the price of the original pocket-sized gun–the Q2. I decided to go with the larger gun.Long story short —–> the C2 model arrived yesterday and charged beautifully. Even though this larger model has a really great silicone handle, I’d been concerned that it might prove a bit unwieldy for me. Instead, it’s very light-feeling and agile; for something with such a powerful motor, it’s easy to handle. I tried a couple of the heads and especially liked the air cushion attachment. (I applied the massager to my lower left back and it felt wonderful! )I’ve rated the experience five stars but none for the original Q2 pocket-sized mini massager as I wasn’t able to put it to use.I’m 100% glad that I hung in there. As was offered, I’ve been refunded 30% of the larger massager–the C2–price.Looking back, I feel so lucky to have happened on a customer service representative who not only empathized with what I was experiencing but set about making things right for me in the end. Me and my quad are most grateful!

Works well and quickly
Really does the job. This fits well in my hand and I can use it on myself in most cases. When the pain is in a hard to reach area, my husband finds that it is comfortable for him to hold in his hand as he helps to alleviate my sore muscle. It doesn’t take very long at all to get noticeable relief. We love the compact size and have even declared it worthy of traveling with us in our Airstream travel trailer where storage is very limited. Glad to have it along to ease the soreness.

Good way to bring relaxation
This gun definitely works well and really relieves tense muscles. I used most of the attachments and they all work well. Differently functionalities and they work really well. My girlfriend and I are very average sized, we don’t gym, just occasional workouts but we aren’t stay at home slugs. We have sore muscles and it definitely does relieve some soreness after a couple of minutes of massaging with the gun. I would sometimes do a full back massage to my girlfriend, comparing her stiffness before and after and there’s definitely a noticeable difference. Now, I’m not saying this will treat anything, but it definitely does get us relaxed enough for the time being. The speed variability with 5-settings definitely helps with slowly introducing and to a higher strong setting, the pressure is strong enough that you can press and it won’t stop the gun. I don’t see this product breaking in any manner that I read in other reviews but we will see as time goes on. I can’t really talk about the charging because I only charged it once and it was overnight. I never really had the need or urge to immediately use the gun that was out of battery and needed charging before use. It’s definitely easy to hold, small in the hand and my girlfriend doesn’t have any issues either handling the gun. The way to use it is pretty intuitive if you’ve been using different kinds of electronics, switching the attachments as well, not so difficult. The little protrusion at the top of the gun didn’t make sense but once you hold it, it all makes sense. It definitely makes it easier to claw and control the whole gun with the way it’s shaped.Overall, I think this was a good buy and I’ll definitely be using this a lot.

Big Value Small Price
This little gem was recommended to me by my favorite massage therapist in Vegas. I love it! It is small enough that I can easily hold it and maneuver it around my shoulders and neck. It comes in a great semi hard case that is so convenient to throw in your backpack for extended airplane flights. It’s a great way to keep the blood moving on my international flights. It is also powerful. I have never needed to take it up to full power because 1 or 2 is plenty of strength. I have bigger massage guns but they are difficult for me to handle on my own when I start getting around the back of my shoulders. I just bought 2 more as gifts for my trainers for Christmas. These pack a powerful punch for a small price. Definitely worth it!

It’s comfortable and effective.
I’ve been following Bob & Brad for a long time on YouTube. They’re terrific. Sensible, effective advice. No frills. Expected their product line to be the same. Wasn’t wrong. I had a bigger gun. It was too big. And heavy. Then it stopped charging. And I found that the company was out of business. Sadly Bob passed away this summer, but their videos go on, and their product line. This massager has a 10 min shut off, which I also like. The grip is really comfortable and not too heavy. It comes in a case, which none of the other massagers I’ve owned did. Highly recommend. It’s priced competitively, but since I just got it I can’t speak to value for $. It did what they said it would.

Would buy again for gifts!
Best message gun out there. Great quality. Several of my family members own these and they have never broken or given any problems. This heat and cold one I bought for my daughter and son-in-law and they are loving these features. This is the second time we’ve bought this as a gift and will probably be buying more for gifts in the future.
