Seems Good So Far
I’ve had this running in my fairly small home for a week, and it does seem to reduce the copious amounts of dust I normally find everywhere! Note, the unit on “auto” will turn itself up to high mode which is not quiet, but you can always put it on low mode manually. It will go to high mode for almost anything, including just opening the door to the outdoors. I’m a smoker and it may help reduce odors I don’t really notice! I’m a very generous homeowner, trying to clean the air for people who don’t even live here! All in all, the unit looks good and operates automatically, has a very substantial filter and is quiet until it goes on high mode. When that happens it’s as loud as a blender or a clothes washing machine! If you want to purify the air quietly, you probably need a whole house system.

Clean Air and Peace of Mind at Home
This air purifier has become an essential part of our bedroom, doubling up as our “safe room” for recovery. Despite the limited space, around 350 sq ft, the focus on health makes it worth it. What sets it apart is its simplicity – no distracting WiFi or smart features, just pure, clean air. The air quality sensor is a standout feature, adjusting the fan speed automatically based on real-time air quality indicators (red, yellow, green). I conducted a test with a clove cigarette, and the sensor accurately detected the change, reassuring me of its reliability. The HEPA14 filter is impressive, capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns, significantly enhancing air quality. After just a few hours of use, the room felt noticeably fresher. While replacement filters may cost around $50 annually, the overall performance and convenience make it a worthwhile investment for our recovery space. Plus, the flexibility to place it against a wall adds to its practicality. Highly recommend it for anyone prioritizing clean air and well-being at home.

Efficient Air Purifier for Clean Recovery Room
This air purifier is a great addition to our bedroom “safe room,” despite its modest size of around 350 sq ft. What sets it apart is its focus on clean air without any distracting WiFi or Bluetooth features. The air quality sensor is a standout feature, automatically adjusting the fan based on real-time air quality readings displayed in red, yellow, or green indicators. I was impressed by its accuracy when I tested it by smoking a clove cigarette – the sensor quickly detected the deteriorating air quality and restored it back to green after a few minutes. The HEPA14 filter is another plus, capable of capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns. Although replacement filters are around $50, the yearly cost seems reasonable. Additionally, the option to place it against a wall by turning it around adds to its versatility. Overall, after just half a day of use, I’m pleased with its performance and foresee it becoming a permanent fixture in our recovery room.

Works like a dream.
Good value. I appreciate how quiet it runs. Has a good selection of settings. And can already tell that the air purification process is making it easier for me to breathe because of my allergies. I’m happy with my purchase.

They actually removed the odors that bothered my sinuses so much
I’m very happy with these puroair air purifiers with hepatitis and activated carbon filters. They removed the gases from the neighbors mothballs that they were putting in their apartment and for some time the smell which was bad, was seeping into my apartment . They also removed the smell of cigarettes and marijuana. Those were my concerns since those things affect my sinuses and this worked perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.I purchased the set of two because my apartment is a thousand square feet and one of the air purifiers cleans a thousand square feet. So with two of them, I can have one in my room and have one in the living room. Even though they are made to run 24/7 I turn them off sometimes and if I come home and I smell some marijuana I just turn it on and in a short while the smell is gone. The auto setting is quiet and if you put it for sleeping it’s even quieter you can hardly hear it.Thank you

Efficient Air Purifier Enhancing Bedroom Recovery Atmosphere
This air purifier plays a crucial role in our bedroom, serving as our designated “safe haven” for recovery purposes. Covering a modest area of 350 sq ft, its health-centric design justifies the limited space it occupies. What makes it outstanding is its simplicity – devoid of unnecessary WiFi or smart functions, it solely focuses on delivering pure and clean air. The highlight feature is the air quality sensor, which automatically adjusts fan speed based on real-time air quality indicators (red, yellow, green). During a test with a clove cigarette, the sensor accurately detected changes, affirming its reliability. The HEPA14 filter is remarkable, effectively capturing particles as tiny as 0.3 microns, notably improving air quality. Within a few hours of operation, the room felt significantly fresher. While yearly replacement filters may incur a cost of around $50, the overall performance and convenience make it a valuable investment for our recovery space. Additionally, its wall-placement flexibility adds to its practicality. I highly recommend it to individuals seeking clean air and well-being enhancement at home.

No More Sniffles & Sneezing
These were purchased for two bedrooms in our home and we couldn’t be more pleased. They work exceptionally well and I have noticed, much to my surprise that my morning 2-3 tissue sniffles and sneezing stopped. Also, my nose is no longer stuffed when sleeping at night. All of this was really a surprise as my main purpose in buying was to help with wildfire smoke.Setup was a breeze and I don’t believe these will raise our electricity bill by much as we also have the 400 in our living room. The units are whisper quiet as well. I had read many reviews on Amazon and elsewhere about PuroAir and I don’t regret my decision to go with this brand.

Clean Air Purifier with Accurate Sensor and HEPA14 Filter
This new addition to our bedroom, doubling as a safe room, has impressed me with its focus on clean air rather than fancy tech features. Despite our limited space of around 350 sq ft, I believe investing in health is priceless. The absence of WiFi, Bluetooth, or smart capabilities is actually a relief for me. The air quality sensor is a standout feature, automatically adjusting the fan speed based on real-time air quality levels, indicated by color changes (red, yellow, green). I conducted a test using a clove cigarette, and the sensor accurately detected the smoke, reverting to green within minutes after I put it out.Equipped with a HEPA14 filter capable of capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns, this purifier ensures thorough air cleaning. After running it for a couple of hours, I could noticeably feel the difference in air quality. The fact that the built-in sensor aligns with external air quality meters confirms its reliability. Despite only owning it for half a day, I am already satisfied with its performance and intend to make it a permanent fixture in our recovery room. The replacement filters, priced at around $50, need to be changed annually, which seems reasonable to me. Additionally, the design allows for flexible placement against a wall by simply turning it around.

Finally Found a Winner!
The newest addition to our “safe room” aka the bedroom… which isn’t that big (maybe 350 sq ft). But when it comes to a safe recovery room, I’m gonna over-do stuff, because you can’t put a price on your health. Best part, no WiFi, Bluetooth or “SMART” features… just clean air. I like that it has an air quality sensor and it adjusts the fan automatically based on air quality – which it gives you a visual indication of (red, yellow, green). I tested it out by smoking a clove cigarette and it went red pretty quickly. About 6 minutes after I snuffed the cig out, it was back to green again. I verified it with both my Temtop LKC-1000S+ (2nd gen) and my GQ AIR-760 meters and the built in sensor on the purifier seems to be pretty accurate! After laying down with it running for about 2 hours, the air in the room certainly just felt cleaner to me. Nice that it has a HEPA14 filter that takes care of particles down to 0.3 microns – about 700x smaller than a human hair. I’ve only had it for about 1/2 a day, but so far, I’m happy with it and it’ll likely become a permanent addition to our recovery room! Replacement filters are about $50… but if it only needs replaced once a year, I’ll be happy. It’s also nice that you can put it against a wall if you turn it around with the back facing out.The company may be based in the USA – but the box clearly says Made In China. For that, I’m gonna take off one star. I would only take off 1/2 a star and give it a 4.5 but can’t do that on Amazon. It was slightly disappointing as I thought I was getting a USA made product. Slightly deceptive.
