Feels Like the Nail Salon Chair… but at Home!
I honestly didn’t expect this massager to be this good, but it really surprised me. It’s not deep tissue, so don’t expect super‑deep tissue pressure, but the slow, steady shiatsu feels amazing and really works out the tension and pain in my back and it’s quiet. And if the shiatsu ever feels like too much, the rolling feature is a perfect lighter option.The chair seems to be designed well, seems sturdy. The neck massage hits the right spots, the heat feels great, and overall it’s like having the good massage chair from the nail salon — the one that actually works — right in your house. I’ve been using it every day and my back feels so much better.Totally worth it. Treat yourself — I love this thing.

High performing quality neck & back massager
I ordered this massager hoping it could help with a whole back massage. I enjoy using it when I’m in my home office chair. Padded seat is very comfortable and does not slip. Convenient and easy controls. Removable and washable cover for the neck. It arrived by way of next day delivery. Convenient packaging for easy removal. High quality product that offers amazing massage relief and great durability. I like that you can tuck away the control panel in the supplied pouch that’s attached to the cushion. The massage rollers and movement patterns are like nothing I’ve experienced. This product is the next best thing to a hands on professional massage. Plenty of modes to suit many needs and comfort. This premium product works great on most any chair, sofa and best of all office chair. Amazing relief.

Great massager but could use size adjustments
Gives a really great massage but because it is wide at the bottom, does not fit well in any office chair with molded/rounded sides. A straight back chair is required for best results.The heat level on the back massage seems almost nonexistent so far as I can tell. I’m 5’9″ and I have to use a 4 to 6 inch cushion to get my myself high enough for the neck massager to not just do the back of my head, but when elevated so, wow does it ever feel great.The back massage does not go high enough to reach those stiff shoulder muscles but otherwise feels great.The pocket for the control opens to the back making it hard to access when on chair and remote falls out when moving if you do not firmly set the Velcro closure.TLDR: great massage when adjusted to reach right spots and best used in a straight back chair.

Best Massager for the money!
My teenager son plays competitive junior golf, he always feels tightness in his hip and lower back. We have to take him to a Chiro therapist every other week to keep his body in good condition so that he’s always ready for golf tournaments. The therapy is not cheap and costs more than $100/per visit.Both my wife and I sit in front of computers for long hours every day. All of us have been bothered by chronic tight back, or back and neck pains.I’ve been thinking about buying a massage chair. But it costs thousands of dollars and occupies a lot of space. Then I found Snailax Massager on Amazon.Bought one and after we tried for one week, we all agreed this Snailax Massager is a keeper!My son’s tight back disappeared after using it for 15 minutes every night. We skipped the Chiro therapy for this week. This Snailax massager is basically free! We’ll see how much this can save us going forward.For my wife. she loves the neck massager! Especially its position can be adjusted based on user’s height to work on the right spots, and you can choose clockwise or counterclockwise rolling.For me, I like the back massage. You can choose 3 Massage areas: Upper, Lower or Full Back, and 3 type of massages: Shiatsu, Rolling or Spot. I love the Shiatsu massage the most. My back feels really relaxed.We’ll need to buy another one, so we don’t have to move it around the house.Strongly recommended! This product is a no brainer!

This chair is amazing. I am 5’6” and the neck massage features adjust perfectly. I can move them down to massage the tops of my shoulders, or turn the neck portion off and adjust it to comfortably support my head, too. The heat is just the right level to warm the muscles in my back, but not make me feel overheated. The timer feature is great because it is easy to loose track of time sitting in this massage chair. Worth every dollar AND the interest on my credit card!

So many options and adjustments! Love it!!
This is a terrific massager with so many options. Neck massage can be adjusted up and down as well as rotate in either direction. Back massager has shiatsu or rolling and the rolling width can be adjusted. You can also set it to just focus on lower or upper back. With the weather cooling down the heat option is wonderful! For deeper massage you can remove one layer from neck and/or back or if you want less pressure just wear a thicker top or use a towel or blanket over it. The seat has a vibration option but I don’t usually use that. I had one of these for many years before I finally wore it out (same brand); I used it almost every evening and was very impressed with how long it lasted. I just bought this one a few weeks ago and am looking forward to enjoying it for years to come. I highly recommend!

Not going to work for me: thorough review from an average-sized, unincentivized person
I have been using this massage product for about 2 weeks now and purchased it on my own accord and was not incentivized in any way. There are a lot of positives to this product and perhaps it will work for you but I believe I will be returning this product and will replace it with a different model or with a product from a different manufacturer.Pros:• It’s well made• Controls are straightforward and easy to useCons (in my experience using):• The proportions just don’t work for me. I have tried adjusting and repositioning this massage chair device numerous times and have tried attaching it to a number of different chairs and sofas and have also tried just lying on it flat but the proportions just don’t work for me. I am a 5′ ft 11″ male and weigh around 150 lbs. which I would consider to be a fairly standard height / weight (well, perhaps I’m a bit slim/trim for your standard American but that’s a different issue lol). I cannot get the main moving kneading back shiatsu massagers to reach the highest area of my upper back where I most desperately need massage, in between my shoulder blades without the lower back massage range then being too high. It is nice that the neck massage area is vertically adjustable but the range of motion for the main back massage area is not long enough for me and the only way I can get the massager to reach my upper back where I need it to be is by raising the entire unit up but if I raise it up as high as I need it to be then I cannot sit on the cushion as it is no longer lying flat on the top of the chair and is then an angle and I don’t want to sit on it and effectively bend it when it has electronic components inside. And I have issues attaching it to a chair which will be in the next bullet.• The straps to attach it to a chair need to be repositioned or there needs to be an additional third, lower strap. I need to be able to attach the very bottom of the unit to the back of a chair but the lower of the two straps is not low enough and thus no matter what chair I use the bottom of the back panel board keeps sliding forward and it’s just been nearly impossible to use this on any chair or sofa I have tried without there being issues. The only decent experience I get is when I lie it flat on a couch or on the floor and lie myself flat on top of it which is okay but I would really like to be able to use this while sitting upright in a chair.• The lower seat vibration massage area isn’t strong enough. It’s probably a strong as massaging components are capable of being but it just isn’t enough for me. And it would be more noticeable perhaps if they are were pre-programmed massage patterns available and built in (such as pulsating, throbbing, etc.) instead of just solid on or off.My final two cons are for missing features I wish this product had and are not the fault of the manufacturer. It’s likely these features I desire do not exist at all from any manufacturer and/or don’t exist in a product of this price range.• I really wish that there was both kneading shiatsu/rolling massage AND full body vibration massage available in the same unit. Perhaps that’s not possible from a construction standpoint considering the rolling/kneading massage components are constantly moving and having vibration massage units along the same areas as the moving kneading massage parts might not work well together or even feasibly be possible. I don’t see why the kneading massage heads themselves though couldn’t have vibration motors built with inside of them, almost something like the classic Panasonic “Magic Wand” vibrator except the massage head is on a track and is moving/kneading/rolling. Perhaps I will just have to buy a second unit that is massage only and then use one after the other but while the kneading shiatsu massage that this product does provide does feel very nice (despite not quite hitting the right areas of my upper and lower back that I need it to) I still just feel like I didn’t get the whole experience that I really require when I’m done using this product because I really need some sort of pulsating massaging sensation applied in these areas as well.•Lack of “chopping” setting. Again this is not the fault of the manufacturer and this may not exist on any similar product in this price range but my whole basis for comparison in using this machine is from remembering wonderful experiences I have had in full stand-alone massage chairs which I’m sure they purchased for thousands of dollars more but I just think they remember there being a rapid tapping or “chopping” type massage available as well (sorry, I’m not a massage therapist and have no clue what the actual term for this type of massage is lol). The rolling and needing experience is very nice but I need some sort of strong vibration or tapping or chopping feature in the same areas and just do not feel thoroughly refreshed and relax after using this product without experiencing this type of sensation.Overall it’s a nice product and I can understand if it is not possible at all or even just not possible at this price range to have additional vibration and chopping massage style techniques built into this product but even with that aside I wish they would add a third/additional chair attachment strap to this model and I wish the proportions / range of the lower moving back area were slightly adjusted. I believe I am going to purchase a similar product from a different manufacturer to see how well it compares.

Feels Like a Mini Massage Chair in My Living Room

I’ve been using this Snailax neck and back massager for a bit now, and it honestly feels like having a massage chair without taking up half the room. The neck nodes hit right where I hold tension, and I like that I can move them up and down to match my height. The back massage is great too—you can pick full, upper, or lower back, or just park it on one sore spot with the spot function. The heat is a nice bonus, warm but not crazy hot, and the seat vibration actually helps loosen up my hips after sitting all day. I’ve used it on the couch and at my desk and the straps keep it from sliding around. Overall, it’s powerful, easy to use, and has already paid for itself in the massages I’m not booking.

Buttons don’t work, but I still like it!
So, I use this a lot (I DO like it), but now that I have used it for a while, I have a good idea of what were “working out usage” issues with “product issues”. So, overall, it was not what I expected, and there are a few issues I have:1. The bottoms are mixed up/don’t work.- On Rolling – button does not work with any area of the back. It just hums and doesn’t move more than an inch up or down- On Shiatsu – The Full Back and Upper back buttons only do the lower back, and the lower back moves up and down the back, but does not go higher than just above my hip bones (aka kidney area). I am a 5’10 female, but I was really hoping for something that would also get between my shoulder blades, but this does not go that high.Upsides- The heat function works great!- Neck Shiatsu is great, I’m just a little too tall for its size, so I have to scoot down into the seat a bit for it to actually get my neck. but it feels great.So, I’d rate this anywhere from a 1 star to a 4 star.haha because I use it a lot anyway, but there are a lot of things that don’t really work they way they should.

A great back and neck massager
Easy to set up. Was ready to go in just a few minutes! It gives a 15-minute massage session, and it feels great! I also like how the bottom seat has a bit of padding. My old one (a different brand bought in a retail store) lasted about 10 years. This one – once registered with them – has a 3-year warranty, which is generous!
