    nice laptop

    great laptop, quick to load and copilot is great. battery lasts a long time. Not a gaming laptop unless you have gamepass and you can strean your games

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:I primarily chose this product because I have used it for the past five years; it is one of the best Laptop computers I have ever used. It’s affordable and has everything I need as an older computer user. It’s amicable. It’s the best choice for the money.

    Not Violet – Just another Laptop

    This is supposed to be a Violet Laptop. They got the color so wrong. It’s a laptop like any other laptop. Nothing special about it in my personal opinion. I got it for the color because I’m obsessed with Purple, Lavender, Violet. But this laptop looks BLUE. Nothing like the color that is shown in the pictures. I DONT Love it. Price??? Too high. It’s not worth anymore than $700 TOTAL.Please get your colors right Microsoft. This violet is actually more like sky blue.Look at my pictures vs. Microsoft’s depiction of violet.

    good battery life, subpar performance

    weird performance issues. runs fairly smoothly for having only efficiency cores, but memory utilization often maxes out with hardly anything running.returning due to the latest update breaking the battery. Initially had the option to limit charge to help keep the battery healthy for longer but then they removed the feature but didn’t role back the setting. so now my battery charge is limited to 80% and no way to change it. Typical Microsoft. removing perfectly good features for god knows why.

    Does NOT support surface pen

    Most disappointing discovery is that this version of the surface laptop does not support writing with the surface pen. You can connect the pen, but it does nothing. Also, less important but still disappointing: it’s more of a silvery periwinkle than purple or violet. I’m returning to purchase an older model with writing capability.

    Almost feels like I received someone’s return or a refurbished product. The box was disgusting and damaged, there was dust all over the laptop itself and even scuff marks on the bottom of it.I can’t speak for performance, but you’d expect more out of a “new” product priced at “new” value.
